where was this taken? is it in san jose? and is the top of your page a painting??

Nicole: This was taken in Union Square, San Francisco, facing West.
The images at the top of the page rotate, but the one I’m pretty sure you mean isn’t a painting, it’s a photo of me that’s been run through an image filter to look painting-like. I guess that filter works pretty well!
