So Long 2006
.I don’t feel like doing a big recap of the year. That would be painful to write, and possibly painful (in a variety of ways) to read.
It’s been a bad year. There have been good things, and it could have been much worse, and I’m happy and grateful to still be around, but: it was a bad year.
So my first hope for 2007 is that it’s not any worse. My second hope is that it will be better.
I have some degree of control over how it’s going to go for me, of course, so hopefully I’ll make the right decisions as far as that goes. I think writing is going to be a big part of it. It certainly has been over the last few months of this year, and I intend not merely to continue that but to expand upon it. Finishing the second draft of my novel is the first thing, but after that I have other things that I want to do.
To all my readers: thanks for reading, I hope you keep coming back in 2007.
