My brother sent me a link to Shift the other night, and I’m quite impressed with it. It’s a fairly simple platformer, but with a nice twist that adds a little more of a puzzle aspect. I haven’t finished it, but it seems worth spending some time with. It reminds me a little of both Jumpman and Portal: The Flash Version.

   I finished it in about 50 minutes, though – shame there aren’t more levels!

   Glad you liked it! I didn’t realize you were a platform game fan. Have you tried Dino Run? It’s not exactly a platformer, but it has plenty of playability and I like its retro feel. If you want to try something a little different from Jumpman and 2D Portal, it’s worth a look.

   Helen: I’m not sure if you’re addressing me or the anthropomorphized avatar of video games… but neither of us seems likely to exhibit much shame on the subject!
