Job: Thinker for Big Shot
Okay, so it’s not quite “thinking”, but it’s $150K/year to accumulate ‘interesting people’ and summaries of the zeitgeist for Hollywood producer Brian Grazer.
In many respects it sounds like a fairly interesting position for anyone interested in disparate subjects, but I wonder how much of it requires Hollywood networking and hobnobbing—and how much of it is like being an assistant in Swimming with Sharks.
Given the salary, I suspect that it’s not as bad as that job:
You’d get to meet a lot of interesting people, you’d get to read a lot and get paid for it, and that salary is pretty good. On the downside, you would have to live in LA…
